If Google wanted to make existence hell for “alternative” browsers built on Chromium, would they even need to do much? I don’t think there’s anything stopping them killing Chromium and only providing unannotated code drops for Blink. It seems like building a house on very shaky foundations owned by the mob.

I don't understand why anyone dissatisfied with Firefox right now would switch to Vivaldi, a browser built on top of Blink (Chromium) that's "proprietary freeware" and not foss. That doesn't seem like a good trade-in no matter how much Firefox is fucking up at present, and they really are fucking up a lot.
For a country that's obsessed with efficiency, I'm having a real hard time syncing up my prescription schedules such that I get to just do one big day of seeing doctors every 3 months instead of having to deal with it every month. I think the neatest part of People Make Games is that being an entirely independent outlet not beholden to one of the giant publishers, there is never any editorial pressure to bury stories about worker abuse and union busting - and can act as an industry insider like they are doing here.
