it will matter less as i get more updates from my feeds, but i dislike how the default sorting method is "Freshly Received" instead of by publication date… though i'm aware you can't always trust the publication date to be accurate
i have a really hard time with recalling things from media i consume… like for any show or movie i've watched i'd have a hard time remembering anything. i don't think this is normal, it's like it all gets erased. but not even in a way i can enjoy it anew if i try it again later.
one minecraft mechanic i find super interesting are tipped arrows that can inflict potion effects. anyways it's pretty cool of them to lock them out until after you beat the ender dragon. for some reason.
I know maybe the best thing to do in the face of GenAI touching everything and thusly making everything horrible is logging off, but barring that, I think it's become more important than ever to curate, be mindful of creators, establish trust networks, and stop relying on algorithms.
kind of evil that most scripts out there got that #!/bin/bash hashbang but that doesn't work on nixos so i gotta pop them open and change it to #!/usr/bin/env bash
Ok So. When I press Ctrl-L on Zen, it focuses the URL bar, right? That's normal, every browser does this, and I use that shortcut extensively. Okay. On my laptop, when I do it, it brings up the location bar riiight on the center of the browser window. That's intended in Zen. But: It's not doing that on my desktop. Despite the fact they are both on the same operating system, running the same version and running on the same synchronized profile. But it did do it before. It stopped randomly. In fact, it's not even completing the URLs I type in, something I also use extensively. Huh? Whuh?
