Not scared about my own family’s shelter at the moment, so I want to take this opportunity to share this for my friend Cori. She’s a really kind person who has been through a lot, as a black, chronically ill trans person. They’ve been outside for a few days now, sleeping in a friend’s car. But that’s not warm enough, and it’s not good for her as a disabled person. Fun fact that makes me really happy, Cori is starting to crochet! Which is one thing I really love to do too. I hope we can help her get back inside, get food and medicine, and craft supplies!

“Today has been a rough day, and unfortunately we’ll still have to raise around $145 to get tomorrow and the next night inside. I can’t stress enough how important it is to stay inside, not just because it’s getting cold and we wouldn’t have plumbing and electricity outside, but because we will be towed if we aren’t customers, and there is no way the RV will let us drive out of here.
I did finally get around to finishing one commission today, and hope to get more work done tomorrow. It’s hard to manage how overwhelming everything is, but I am doing my best. Please help if you can. I’m putting all feelers out, sharing my sales when they pop up, sharing mine & Betty’s music, sharing the fundraiser, asking for art commissions, and giving it my all despite the complete hopelessness I feel inside. Crowdfunding for a car as a disabled & homeless trans couple. @magicalgrrrl and I would greatly benefit from having a working car, as it would allow us to go about life more independently. Recently, we’ve spent an unreasonable amount of funds to just get food and meds regularly, because better resources/stores are too far away from the hotel we’re staying at, to walk to them. If we had a running vehicle, we could also DoorDash or UberEats for income. It would also allow us start seeking medical care for our disabilities, because then we’d have reliable transportation to and from appointments.

Any contribution is genuinely appreciated; even boosting or re-posting our fundraiser is a huge support. If we can get a used SUV of sorts, and a small trailer to store our belongings, that would help us even more than just a car by itself. We currently have a broken-down, very old RV that we’ve spent a ton of money trying to repair to no avail. It has been storing our belongings while we stay sheltered in the hotel. The only reason the hotel doesn’t tow it is because we’re staying with them. Getting a car AND trailer would allow us to try to sell the broken RV and start seriously seeking out stable housing and income.

Hi, I’m here to share the RV fundraiser made by myself and my partner @magicalgrrrl as well as some of our shared story.
We’re both trans, autistic individuals with chronic pain and complex PTSD. We met long-distance and then I traveled across the country to meet her in person several years ago after bonding. At the time, I was homeless, and she was living with an abusive ex. We eventually fled, traveling across the country together multiple times, trying to find somewhere safe, scrambling to get money for motels or campsites. We have become a family with us & our cats, Max and Lenny, through much trauma and adversity. We were housed for most of 2024, but with our disabilities and lack of resources lost our housing; leaving us stuck in a hotel room without a vehicle for the past few months. Our mental and physical health has suffered. I’ve had an extremely difficult time trying to cope, which has put me in direct danger from pigs.
Considering this, the RV could literally change our lives. It would give us shelter, stability, and a bit more control over our lives, which I can’t state the importance of enough.
We are only trying to reach $15,000
The RV is $8,500
We’ve raised just over $700
Everything in the goal beyond the cost of the RV includes a ride to get it, gas to the state to register, registration & insurance, and transfer fees (when someone sends a $100 donation, we only receive $96-97, depending on location, conversion fees, etc.)
This is my lifeline right now. I have trauma nightmares every night from the stress, and frequent autistic meltdowns. Every dollar counts and means so much us. Thank you.

Yeah, subscribe to my Patreon, where you can get a weekly rundown of how awful things are, and maybe sometimes I’ll post about my music, art, or one of the two different genre books I’m working on entirely by myself. (Sarcasm, I guess?)

Maybe someday I can cut out the fear-and-stress-fueled beg-posts. As the screenshot states, we are attempting to stay in a place that costs $450 weekly. Today we’re supposed to pay that, and we only have $25 of it. This happens every week, and it takes days to recover; leaving us virtually unable to do anything but worry about staying sheltered.

We’re trying to get an RV, and it’s hard not to be frustrated that we’re spending so much to stay inside someplace that continues the emotional & physical cycles from C-PTSD and autistic meltdowns; when we could be financially independent, able to make art & music, able to regulate in nature, stay sheltered, and feel less like rats in cages if we got an RV (which we’re less than $8000 from acquiring in itself..)

Needless to say. We’re exhausted. We are hoping for a miracle every day, and unfortunately frequently wondering if we deserve to feel safe and content.

It’s the point of the week where we seriously need to ask for for immediate needs.
My partner and I are in need of $450 to pay for a week of shelter, due Sunday. We are homeless with two cats; fundraising separately for an RV to live in.

Sharing my progress on an illustration for a kids’ book I’m writing, and hoping to spread awareness to the fundraiser my partner @magicalgrrrl & I started for an RV, so us and our cats can have something to call home and a way to get around… boosting is appreciated!

The book will be a child-friendly retelling of my traumatic childhood and adulthood experiences (as an autistic person…) with the cat shown being the main protagonist. I’ve had the idea for a while, but have only just recently started tweaking it and designing the pages. My hope when it’s released is to reach and uplift others who may relate, whether child or adult, and for it to be a small source of income.

RV fundraising update for the day~
Good afternoon, everyone. I’m grateful to say my partner and I have received some donations towards our RV goal since yesterday. Especially grateful since we also had to pay for our room today so we can be inside this week.

For some background, my partner @magicalgrrrl and I are homeless, autistic, trans people with chronic pain and complex PTSD. We are trying to get an RV so we have a home, a vehicle, and a means to reach self-sufficiency.

Due to factors of our situation out of our control, the fundraiser is displaying $350 raised, but for transparency, we have $300 set aside for this. We aren’t able to finance, so we have to buy the vehicle outright without a payment plan.

The extended stay hotel situation we’re in has been a sensory overwhelm, as well as making it difficult to manage complex PTSD, especially for myself. It is also difficult in the physical sense of getting the things we need, and the financial sense, with most Sundays being full of panic due to our room cost. This makes the RV fundraiser incredibly important for us.

On a more personal note... if we can get the RV, I will get to see my baby sisters again 🥺

Fundraiser & personal update~
Good morning, everyone.
I’m grateful to say that yesterday morning, before I woke up, we received a $100 donation towards the RV fundraiser.

For anyone who doesn’t know, my partner @magicalgrrrl and I are homeless, disabled, and trans. We have 2 cats. If we had an RV, we would have a home & vehicle, and have a chance at self-sufficiency.

We’ve been staying in an extended stay hotel, which has been incredibly difficult. We need to raise more and more every week simply to stay inside, and that isn’t feasible. It’s been exacerbating my issues from autism and complex-PTSD, leaving me constantly overstimulated, and having ptsd nightmares each night.

I also make updates about our situation on my Patreon and Ko-Fi, and occasionally on TikTok. Our fundraiser is a huge priority right now, so any shares, boosts, and donations are massively appreciated!!
