So, does anyone want to run a queer games bundle of some kind this year? I'm sadly not a leader or marketing kind of a person, so I'm not fit to organize it myself, but I'd be happy to help. Workhorse stuff like vetting submissions, promotional art and materials, drafting pages and messages or such. Yes, I'm serious.

I can kind of imagine a world where I would make Hermitcraft kind of streams and videos. That kind of chill format would be so my vibe, but I doubt I'd find enough success even if I did loner Minecraft for 10 years. It's so competitive.

Galaxy Princess Zorana is an oopsie-daisy let's get killed in fun ways kind of a princess simulator but in space.

I have been really itching to play this one! Will I manage to survive the threats of space and politics while smooching alien girls? Probably not on the first try, but I'll do my best.

Here's my Steam replay even if it's rather lackluster since I tend to play games on Itch if they're available there. Well, the theme is accurate nevertheless: yuri and Silksong.

On the bright side, I think I have leveled up my sound effect work a bit. I was able to better mix and match different techniques while still being kind of consistent with the style. I have struggled with that a lot in the past.

Actually making a game instead of struggling with the engine. Having fun too despite being a little stressed about the scope and the time limit. It will hopefully be fine at this rate.

The struggle with character animations has been real, but I finally have a more or less functional way to do them. After several attempts that just didn't work. Hopefully I can now focus on making the game instead of struggling with Godot.

i suppose of the two options of bsky getting monetized through ads and it not getting monetized through ads the latter is imo the more terrifying one. i don't know what such a monetization model would look like but it would almost certainly be maximally exploitative of its users

@eniko Yeah, I really can't see how the math would work. There's just no way premium will cover the costs, never mind make the investors happy.

Maybe if they sell the site before implementing federation and the next guy operates on a skeleton crew and stuff... 🤔

Kitsune Tails / deliver mails / courting fails / yandere jails.

I'm a fan so far. Both the gameplay and the story are fun and the pacing is great. It's not an easy combo to pull off, but Kitsune Tails feels very solid. Excited to play more.

Tier Gamma Yuri Ship, our Yuri Jam game from last year, made it to the shortlist of the Queer Games Festival. That's a huge positive surprise! We worked super hard on it, so it's nice to see it get recognition.

@eniko If they're done well, I tend to like them. For example, they can help with discoverability by telling you that there's this thing you can find or that fun challenge you can tackle. Complete 200 fishing quests, though...
