If the title is ambiguous, then don't just repeat it in the teaser text... Provide the details to remove the ambiguity. Talk about why you're posting it.

So several months ago, they replaced the mixer valve on our water system.

What was meant to be a one day outage, became 8 or 10 days, over a 3-4 week period. During which the upper and/or lower zones of the building lost partial or all water.

The first week alone saw 4 days in a row of the water being off; one we at least had cold water for most of the day.

Since then, any of my taps set more than 1 or 2 degrees off centre resulted in scalding hot water.

I almost laughed. I was struggling not to laugh as they tried to console me.
