AI isn’t an existential threat to humanity, capitalism and corporations are.

You see, we created capitalism, a religion modeled on cancer, and the corporation, a new, artificial species; a parasite that co-opts human beings to do its bidding; an organism that’s psychopathic by design and grows by extracting from and exploiting us and our habitat.

And we now find ourselves ruled by this religion and driven to ruin by these parasites as they drain our humanity, destroy our habitat, and condemn our future.

Your enemy is capitalism.

Your enemy is the corporation.

This is an existential battle against a cancerous ideology and an invasive species for the survival of our own.

@aral 1/2 ...ahem... may I offer a spotlight on the elephant in the room? As others mentioned before, It's not some abstract "-ism", that is the culprit. It is people. Especially, and only those people who were born without the ability to emotionally connect to others. Who lack empathy and compassion. Yes that is inborn, not learned. It is not possible to learn or train emotional processing. BUT. The lack of it doesn't mean these folks are brainless robots. 1/2

I grew up broke very firmly in The Occupation portion of Detroit, in a family with a history of being criminalized. I ain't really ever need to be told not to call the cops because I been "the defendant" most of my life. If you care about other people, why would you invite armed fascists with criminal immunity from the law to solve your problems?
