Four years have passed since Russia's full scale invasion of Ukraine. Russia was supposed to win in three days. Instead, Ukraine reinvented modern warfare, built a drone industry, and can destroy a thousand Russian soldiers in a day. Ukraine can win.

Here is my Ukraine peace proposal:

  1. Putin is sent to The Hague.
  2. Russian soldiers leave Ukraine including Crimea.
  3. Russia returns all kidnapped Ukrainian children.
  4. Russia releases all Ukrainian prisoners.
  5. Russia pays damages for everything their war has destroyed.
  6. Russia pays damages to Ukrainian families who have lost family members.
  7. Russia pays damages to every person who has been tortured, abducted or otherwise criminally mistreated.
  8. Ukraine becomes a member of the EU.

@randahl
9. Ukraine joins NATO.
10. Russian military leaves Moldova, Georgia, and Belarus.
11. Russia resigns from the UN Security Council, and the permanent seat goes toIndia.
12. 300(?) km deep demilitarized zone inside all European borders of Russia.

and now for ones that are more open for negotiation:
13. Plebiscite on independence in Kaliningrad in 2 years time (i.e. 2 years after the military has to leave including huge chunk of the local economy).
14. Circassia restored!

Trump has now set a deadline for Thursday next week, where he demands Ukraine signs an agreement to meet Putin’s demands:

— No NATO membership
— A reduction of its military to just 600,000 troops
— Accepting the loss of Donetsk, Luhansk, Crimea, and most of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia
— Forcing Ukrainian elections within 100 days

While Russia will
— Reenter the G8
— Have all sanctions lifted

This is not a peace agreement. This is capitulation.

: Israel Marking Control Line Far Deeper Into Than Agreed, Then Opens Fire and Kills Civilians Beyond It

With US, Egypt & Turkey being the ones overseeing this sham ceasefire, no wonder is getting away with what ever it wishes with absolute 0 consequences.

How many innocent Palestinians need to die before the world stops their unconditional support of this genocidal regime?

Israel is planting yellow markers 500m from the agreed location during the ceasefire negotiations.

Palestinians near the line told the BBC there are no clear markings and they remain “constantly exposed to danger.” BBC Verify concludes that Israel is enforcing a line far deeper than agreed, keeping “notably larger” parts of Gaza under continuing military occupation than agreed to under th

That's a hard road to take. But so is every other path forward.
A one state solution strikes me as well as the actual best path in the long run, but I'm far from an expert.
Strangest idea I've seen was a -1 state solution. Not just Palestine and Israel in one unified secular state, but also Lebanon and the minority-majority areas of western Syria too. "Union of Levantine Cantons". Straight up utopian alternate history idea. But that's not our timeline.
