@adingbatponder I disagree. Supplying a recovery email to law enforcement -- especially without a warrant is a big no-no for a company that's supposed to be privacy centered. See how easy it was for the Spanish government to use that information to identify the person.

@protonprivacy @adingbatponder IMO, most people would've still expected you to require a warrant before turning over any customer information to law enforcement.

I'd love to have the opportunity to talk with someone at Proton about this for an article.
