@silly @solonovamax why is it RCE? what about it is remote? you send someone a file and they open it and click a link in it, where is the remote code execution? this is closer to a file format bug than a "Remote Code Execution" or even the more generous "Remote Command Execution" - idk maybe im just old and pointlessly still care what words mean or whatever but this is not the first time ive seen a bug called RCE just because the computer its run on is connected to the internet.

lets say the user never downloads the file, or never clicks the link, is it still RCE?

@silly @solonovamax even "notepad can execute commands from links" isnt RCE, thats a local bug still.

remote code execution happens remotely, and when user interaction is required its usually in the title - but not when someone has a resume to gild.
