Reminiscing with this gorgeous cluster of deep orange Favolaschia claudopus (Orange Porecap Fungus) fruiting bodies on a decaying Beech trunk. I took this on my local patch at Denny Wood, New Forest, UK in Autumn 2024. A subtropical species marching eastward across Britain's warmer southern counties. An indicator of environmental changes afoot.
