Small cut fragment of a screenshot with black terminal displaying ssh key randomart. Bunch of characters have similar shape to bumblebee from the first picture.
Another #ssh key #randomart#drawing... This one is not animal or fantasy creature, it's just plain box/chest transporter from warehouse. Or is it somehow related to airport?
Screenshot of a small fragment of black terminal with ssh key randomart displayed. Bunch of random characters made shape similar to transporter on the first picture.
Another #ssh key #randomart#creature... kind of #rodent, maybe slightly similar to these rabbit-chinchilla things from Elden Ring. I definitely saw chinchilla tail in that terminal. And it also had to have horns :blobcatjoy:
Screenshot of a small fragment of black terminal with ssh key randomart displayed. Bunch of random characters makes shape similar to creature on first picture.
Another #ssh key #randomart#creature... This time I even have a #dragon 🐉
Somehow similar to Almudron from Monster Hunter... I definitely saw its fins on head in that terminal :blobcatjoy: And I felt it should be some kind of water creature.
Screenshot with small part of black terminal, with ssh key randomart displayed. Shape made of random characters is similar to silhouette of the dragon from first picture.
Here is #ssh key #randomart#pony. Or pegasus-pony... Uhm, in My Little Pony one character also had wings, right? Tried to purposely draw it in similar style like these cartoon characters, I "felt" this pattern even should be read like this.
This #ssh#random creature is... kind of dragon-snail? I clearly saw its triangular shell and ears in these dots :blobcatjoy:
Maybe my brain was also corrupted with Monster Hunter and that healing green #snail there → https://monsterhunterwiki.org/wiki/Escuregot

SSH brute force login attempts 🤣 It is time to hide your ssh port behind a vpn? I say, disable password based login and only use the 2FA protected ssh keys based login and ensure TCP/port 22 is rate limited.
A custom made security report showing 7,827 total failed login attempts at a rate of 136/hour, with 'root' being the most targeted username (total 3,037 attempts). Image credit https://www.threads.com/@bsunter/post/DRnc9tgksOy
Install an iris just a few nanometers away from the #ssh login attempt event horizon. Authorized login attempts must send an encrypted code over radio before the iris is opened.
Be aware that Sokar can try to burn your iris away so make sure to have a watchdog process dial out before Sokar can dial in again and keep the connection open for as long as possible so the iris can cool down.
Make sure there are no unattended and unburied SSH processes listening elsewhere and you'll be fine. No SSH keys needed unless you're dealing with "less primitive" peoples that can just walk through.
I'm guessing #JuiceSSH app is abandonware now? Their cloud sync API server is offline, and the app hasn't been updated since 2021? What #Android#ssh app are people using nowadays? Termius? Termux?
Anyone on Android 15+ managed to ssh into a local Linux box from the native terminal app now in Android?
Once again, this is using the phone to ssh into a computer. Not the other way round.
I could easily ssh into my account on tty.sdf.org, but it just hangs forever when I try accessing my laptop. Got sshd running, but I've likely set something up wrong.
Cut screenshot fragment of ssh key ramdomart in black terminal. Shape of this character mass is similar to silhouette of the flying bat from previous picture.
