I’m looking for a new setup as far as breathable winter clothes and shells. Keep an eye out if anyone gets rid of any quality shells or inner wear. I’m about a 42 long. Slim build, 32 pants 33 length. I mostly wear scrubs as the in between layer. It’s just easier. I love scrubs!
You can definitely see my age here as a 3 year old in a 46 yr old body . Haha
At the crossroads of affordability, comfort and practicality
I always thought that Germans back in the day were really disgusting because they didn’t do enough against Hitler.
There were quite large organizations and movements that fought against Nazis, like the Iron Front and the Anti-Fascist Action, which engaged in violent and deadly street confrontations against the Nazis. The methods they choose to fight the nazis might not have been perfect but they fought and did not let apathy win. These anti-fascists are heroes.
But in the end, German citizens let Hitler win the de facto coup with the help of Hindenburg over the state authority and the people did not do enough to smash the illegitimate government before the window of mass action was slammed and for that I despised them.
Now the same things are happening in the USA: fascists are in power, ICE is raiding the streets, and the state is waging new wars.
But there is no movement against the fascists. There are no large organizations trying to stop this in any serious way. There are no street battles. There are only defensive actions and posts on social media about how terrible all of this is while the window for resistance is closing fast. The US is 340 million people strong, and yet there is almost nothing...
Looking at this failure of the American people, it might be that the German anti-fascist ancestors who fought against the Nazis did not do so badly after all, considering the challenges they faced.
Maybe it is just incredibly difficult to fight against fascism, and the only thing that helps is strong, preemptive strikes against the fascist mind virus that consumes hope and love and turns them into hate and cruelty.
And when I consider that all the fighting by our German ancestors still led to failure, I see a very dark future for the US.
And holy shit, I really hope that the German AfD gets banned and that the EU finally does something about the social media manipulation of its citizens. If Germans and the EU do not act swiftly and decisively, this whole thing will repeat.
Give the fascists a hand’s breadth, and they’ll take the whole arm.
