An amazing trail on , in Hallasan National Park

A with a Electro 35 MC

We tend to obsess over our expensive high-end analog cameras. Yet my Electro 35 MC, found among some clutter, ( see collections ) also came along on the trip to . That little thing had already proven itself with in its body.

Time for a on a roll of HP5 . It’s an unbelievably small and charming little is timeless.

To round off this roll of film, I’ll finish with the last batch of china town shots. These were all taken last December in San Francisco.

Frame 35

There’s a visit to the bar
somewhere between frame 31 and 35.
Which photo of the same alley do you think turned out best ?

Did you know I'm (still) the only one using the tag ?

I have an alleyway obsession (and, of course, a love for film),
so the Korean cities definitely appealed to me."

Fire trucks roll through the night with noise and purpose. Not much grace at all.

Deeper into the tenderloin I pushed. Past all the happy ended spas, and tandoori restaurants. There’s something about the gritty parts of town that I like. Maybe it’s the simple honesty of the area. They don’t hide their vices. The drugs, alcohol, or sex.

So this was a roll of 3200 speed film. Something that I don’t have much experience with. It was fun though walking around San Francisco shooting and trying new things.

So For the last three days I’ve been struggling with posting images on Pixelfed. Trying something new. Let’s see if this works.

For these next few days, I’ll be posting from a very expired medium format film roll that was shot during my wife’s birthday

Images like this made me reflect on my own future and the process of growing older.
In society, there are so many elderly people who have to survive by doing all kinds of daily jobs just to get by.
Truly old men and women collecting paper and cardboard day and night, hauling heavy carts through the streets.

And this is a scene you see in every major city.

When you discover a country with a completely different culture,
you naturally want to understand certain things.
One area where we could definitely learn a thing or two is public transportation...

It’s a photo I had completely forgotten about, the beauty of analog photography ! (Every disadvantage has its advantage.) It’s tucked away on my negatives, somewhere between images of Island, South Korea… I think I shot it from a bus.
