"Many other musicians and musical groups were allowed to utilize this studio, including the Grateful Dead."
"Francis Ford Coppola bought the building in 1972 to be the headquarters for his production company, American Zoetrope. A number of his films including the Godfather II and III, Apocalypse Now, The Conversation, One From The Heart, The Outsiders, and Dracula were written, edited, or sound mixed within these walls."

Okay...last migration for a while. Determined that (and I should've thought to look this up before hand) Pixelfed cannot display text-only posts (which means none of the great banter with the photog.social folks that I've been enjoying) as well as the fact that pixelfed.social also appears to be defederated from mastodon.art, whose draconian policies photog.social will largely inherit per the new admin's post. So, this should be a good middle ground where I can interact with my favorite photog.social accounts as well as accounts on pixelfed.social, mastodon.social, etc.
Plus I already know there's good people here too (thanks
@pauliehedron ) and the wonderful
@jerry runs a number of other services I've enjoyed...so my patreon just shifted to infosec as well.
Oh, and for your trouble - here's a photo of the sky from this past weekend.
A picture of the sun through some clouds in black and white, slightly grainy film. Clouds making shadows radiating from the center of the frame.
Black and white photo taken directly into the sun, shielded by the trunk of a large winter tree, whose shadows are cast towards the viewer. Abbey Lake and the trees beyond it lie behind the tree.
Pleasance moat. The Pleasance is a square raised area surrounded by a double moat, now mostly dry, built as a party site by Henry V, nearly a mile from Kenilworth Castle.
