#PetPeeve: Patently fake audio histograms in music player apps
I'm talking about the not-even-trying three bars repeating pattern that is just insulting to see.
So evident that it's not even doing basic beat detection (which is computationally NOT hard for modern hardware) to sync the bars to the rhythm of the song but just showing a nonsensical repeating pattern or some kind of .GIF
When one person clogs up a #hashtag I follow so completely, that no matter how long I #doomscroll, all I see is that one person's posts, one after the other, seemingly forever. Aaarrgghhh!!
