watercolour (traditional+digital); a large spiral with a blue water vein; roots reach downwards in 2 places, fractal distortions can be seen on the outer side, light air bubbles rise. colours are natural browns on grey muted background.
watercolour (traditional+digital); a swirl pulls purple-tinted ground around a tree with mainly bare branches, a patch of purple discoloured leaves at the top; a patch of green leaves on the ground.
watercolour (traditional+digital); 2 bare trees curve around a swirling curve of multiple lines, intertwined and encasing fractal curves; inner centre is earth brown with orange accents, outer colour is slate blue watercolour.
watercolour (traditional+digital); abstract image of waves in aqua blending with black, parts are dissolving patches of bright; top right is red patches mixed with the other colours, a small red bare tree stands on the right.
There are three images, all of them showing a deep zoomed Mandelbrot set, colored using a rainbow color gradient. The top image is least zoomed, the bottom the most zoomed. The three images are connected by triangles, which illustrates the size relation of the rendered fractal by showing that the next image can be found in the previous.
watercolour (traditional+digital); abstract image of a bare tree leaning towards the right being distorted and pulled by circular forces; colours vary from blue to sand brown
watercolour (traditional+digital); multi coloured abstract image with main colours of aqua and purple on a background of grass greens, reds and brown, swirls intersected, light dots in white and dark pink are scattered on top.
watercolour; dark, almost black clouds hang over a sandy foreground; vertical rain falls but evaporates before hitting the surface; at the bottom fire is simmering and rising - a circular curve pulls elements from top to bottom half and up again
Hi everyone! 👋 Time for an #Introduction.
I’m Therese, a #Fractal artist using Ultra Fractal 6.05 to explore the organic and artistic side of algorithms. 🎨✨
I’m no math genius, but I love using formulas as my "pencil" to create colorful, shiny, and expressive worlds beyond the usual spiral.
Excited to connect with the #Art community!
watercolour; dark outer area brown and light in the centre, a large swirl encompasses patches of ground, a lone bare tree is engulfed by fog, on the right, a large curve if heat threatens, drops of rain in black and light fall
watercolour; light background with a fractal swirl of earth tones of brown, gold and greens, a pale tree leans inwards and downwards from the top left.
Today's Mathtober prompt is "Minor". For this one, I went with the vernacular meaning, and added some baby penguins with a 'grown up' penguin for today's #inkyDays drawing.
Hand drawn generative/procedural art in ink on an open page of my sketchbook. The abstract pattern looks like an adult penguin with three baby penguins.
Going with a variation on yesterday's fractal sea star pattern, in today's #inkyDays drawing. I also finished one piece on watercolor paper, and started a new one with this fractal sea star patter.
Stress tested it using a ~1e-13874 sized deep zoom with around 38,000,000 iterations per pixel (usually much fever computation iterations due to linear approximation acceleration). Worked fine, no timeout or vulkan "device lost" errors, which happened with some deep zooms before. Coordinates: https://www.deviantart.com/dinkydauset/art/Tiling-iteration-Julia-ghost-819880424
