Today in our Magic Commander Round we had a new player (3-4 games played). I gave them my Giada Angel Stompy Deck as that seems easy enough and played with them to help explain cards, interactions and sequencing. Other players chose decks accordingly. One player dropped a Rhystic Study Turn 3 and suddenly we moved from „How to best sequence your turn“ to „Mana-Taxing: What is it and why do we hate it?“

The player was very sorry and at some point put the Rhystic Study simply in their graveyard. But it was quite the experience.

The Giada Deck won btw.
