So far Brexit looks to have cost the UK between 4-6% GDP per capita, with the negative impact continuing to compound as GDP growth remains weak compared to similar countries.
This chart should be shown each time Nigel Farage tries to make out its been a success (or if not, its not his fault). Brexit was clearly his project, its clearly cost the UK dear (in economic terms) & he should be reminded of this fact continually & publicly
Chart: UK GDP compared to similar countries before & after Brexit Referendum.
Shows UK GDP broadly in the middle of similar countries' trend then sinking to below the aggregated range fo comports counties

“DHS officers have fired shots during enforcement arrests or at people protesting their operations 16 times since July, and as in the recent shootings in Minneapolis, in each case the Trump admin has publicly declared their actions justified before waiting for investigations to be completed."
"In Minneapolis, we watched a man die in front of the world, and yet we still do not know who pulled the trigger. Not by name. Not by badge. Not by face. Not by the accountability that is supposed to define a democratic society."
"In law enforcement departments across the country, badge numbers are visible on uniforms precisely so that when force is used, especially lethal force, the public can know who was involved. That transparency is not a nicety. It is a safeguard."
With the US administration banning people from countries participating in the next #WorldCup and threatening to strip hosting rights from cities, #FIFA needs to be challenged on whether it will defend its own rules — or fold to authoritarian pressure. #HumanRights 🧵
Legally, FIFA can remove matches, reassign venues, or even strip hosting rights. This isn’t radical — it’s enforcement of their own rules. 3) #Accountability#SportsGovernance

The Venezuela strike was not a “law enforcement action.” It was an unauthorized military operation, dressed up in legalese and staged from behind curtains at Mar-a-Lago instead of a SCIF.
I’ve laid out what really happened and why it should terrify anyone who believes in the rule of law.
The war crimes in Gaza continue — genocide rebranded by a false ceasefire. According to Gaza’s Government Media Office, Israel has violated the official ceasefire at least 875 times since it took effect on October 10, 2025.
These flagrant, systematic violations leave little doubt that Israel is still, to this day, intent on inflicting conditions conducive to the physical destruction of the Palestinian people, as defined under the Genocide Convention. To ignore it is not neutrality. It is complicity.
As political pressure corrodes enforcement of international humanitarian law, the Hind Rajab Foundation works on the frontline to uphold it — to ensure that it does not become an empty promise.
The law survives only when it is enforced. Your support ensures it does not end in Gaza.

Gaza is not just a case of failed humanity — it is the greatest legal test of our time.
For 80 years, our world has claimed that international law protects humanity when power turns violent. The laws of war were all created to make “never again” enforceable.
But Gaza has forced the world to ask: Will international law hold when power defies it?
The International Court of Justice (ICJ) confirmed "a serious risk of genocide in Gaza". That finding immediately activated binding state obligations to investigate, prosecute and extradite perpetrators, and prevent the commission of genocide itself through urgent, effective intervention.
Governments and policy-makers have become beholden to special, powerful interests. As they — together with the weapons industry, high-tech military systems, Zionist lobbies, and corporate media — have converged to obscure the truth, justice is being deliberately blocked.
The refusal of states to intervene in genocide makes them complicit. Your support helps us act where governments have not.
Your support defies impunity.
The Hind Rajab Foundation will not relent. We will continue to file case by case, pursue filings across jurisdictions, collect evidence, and force international and national legal systems to confront their obligations until the law is enforced as intended. #Gaza#Legal#Politics#Palestine#Israel#WarCrime#ICJ#ICC#Accountability
Public servants are meant to be transparent. Private citizens are meant to be… private. Flip that, and you don’t have a democracy anymore — you have surveillance.
When I was a kid, I had a Yamaha 250cc motorcycle—rode it like a dirt bike, though it wasn’t one. I’d take it up the trails of Dictionary Mountain in Spring Valley, California. I fell often, but that never stopped me. 🤔 Well, technically it did stop me—but only briefly. I’d get right back up and off I’d go again.
I rode that motorcycle until it wouldn’t ride anymore. When it broke, that was the end of it. I didn’t have the money to fix it. By then, I’d moved north to the big city of Keyes, California, where I once got a ticket for riding it fifty feet on a road.
Years later, the lessons of that motorcycle stayed with me. Just because you can afford to buy something doesn’t mean you can afford to own it. Ownership means maintenance. It means repair. It means responsibility. That’s especially true of mechanical things—and homes. They require care over time. It’s a dilemma for folks who need a car to get to work: they may afford the purchase, but can they afford the upkeep? Or will they drive it until the engine seizes—and then what?
You know, I don’t even remember what happened to that old motorcycle. I joined the Marines in 1971 and leaned into a different life. Those things just faded into the past.
The world turns.

"A single petunia flower commands the foreground, its velvety petals unfurling in a rich tapestry of purple and magenta hues. The central bloom is fully open, revealing a delicate funnel shape with gently ruffled edges. Deep veins radiate from the throat of the flower, drawing the eye inward toward its reproductive structures—pale stamens dusted with pollen and a slender pistil reaching forward like a ceremonial gesture. Surrounding this focal bloom are several companion petunias, slightly blurred but still vibrant, nestled among lush green foliage that frames the scene with natural contrast. The lighting is soft yet vivid, enhancing the saturation of the petals and giving the entire composition a sense of depth and intimacy. The flower species is Petunia × hybrida, a popular ornamental hybrid known for its brilliant colors and trumpet-shaped blossoms.

Palestinian human rights lawyer Diana Buttu told Drop Site that not a single Israeli soldier has faced prosecution for killings or torture since October 2023 — “none.”
Palestinian human rights lawyer Diana Buttu told Drop Site that not a single Israeli soldier has faced prosecution for killings or torture since October 2023 — “none.”
Sharif Abdel Kouddous noted that Israel’s military advocate general — the same office now under fire for leaking the Sde Teiman rape video — has brought less than a handful of cases since 2023, despite hundreds of documented atrocities.
Buttu pointed to the 2016 case of Elor Azaria, filmed executing a wounded Palestinian lying motionless on the ground in Hebron, as a rare exception. However, “he served less time than Ahed Tamimi – a teenager who slapped a soldier.”
“This is a turning point,” said Dyab Abou Jahjah, General Director of HRF. “For the first time, a European institution must account for how its public funds are fueling Israel’s apartheid system. The era of silence and denial is over.”

AI cannot be a moral agent with an understanding of difference between right and wrong and is held accountable for its actions, he said.
“AI can produce the same decisions and recommendations that humans would produce,” he said, “but the causal history of those decisions differs in important ways.” Unlike humans, AI lacks free will and cannot be held morally responsible. If an AI system causes harm, the blame lies with its developers or users, not the technology itself.
In the US, those who are unaffiliated with any religion overwhelmingly vote for The Democrats. Whereas those who believe greed is a sin, overwhelmingly vote for the guy who is building a gold-gilded ballroom worth 300 million dollars, while taking away health care from the common man.
That blows my mind.
