so basically i think chapter 5 is gonna kick off with the dark fountains being revealed as being the dork fountains, and their influence is causing kris to act like a dork, they’re gonna go to the fountain of a movie theater and there’s gonna be like a new projection headed guy that everyone’s gonna ship as a polycule with tenna and spamtom. my biggest hypothesus is that chapters 6 and 7 are gonna be combined into one big chapter called chapter 67, in which ralsei is gonna be revealed as the obligatory twist villain because he wants to kill all darkeners because he’s actually asriel’s anti-woke heart turned into a being by a dork fountain’s influence. all of the characters from the game are gonna team up and form into a big mech called DELTARUNE, and then they’re gonna say “WE ARE DELARUNE!” and then ralsei is gonna get like beat the fuck up but its gonna be like metaphorically and then he’s gonna become woke ralsei and merge back into asriel, who is going to hug kirk (they reveal that kris is actually charlie kirk with amnesia in chapter 67) now that they’re both woke and then they’re gonna look up at the screen and go “hmm, a happy ending, i hope nobody resets the game so they can kill everyone and do a rad ass boss battle with cool ass music!” and then toby fox is going to buy a megayacht and sail off into the sunset being the one person on the planet who could actually afford a switch 2. they never explain who the roaring knight is

Prediction wishlist (is that even a thing)

• Asriel comes back from college
• asgore flower shop dark world (where we get asriel character development)
• chapter ends with festival dark world (all the hometown lightners have their own adventures/quests which are affected by your interactions in previous chapters) then the shelter dark world as the epilogue.

Of course this could all be incredibly wrong (except the asgore dark world because tricky toby has to redeem the divorced goat dad after he legit stalked his eggs wife at her church recital).

Id really love a festival dark world with all the hometown residents because I feel like currently they all come off as inconsequential side characters. There has to be a pay off for spending time in hometown and interacting with all the residents otherwise deltarune is like every other jrpg where NPCs are set dressing rather than narrative agents (not every npc needs a epic side quest but the ones you interact with should have something).

Also a festival dark world would also raise the stakes for the story in a real way since “the world will end” from the prophecy doesnt feel that impactful since the story is concentrated on a teenage coming of age cast. If every hometown lighter participated then I could be invested in the story a lot more.

Weird route should end in chapter 5, if chapter 4 locks you into the weird route then itd be hell to have to write around for multiple chapters.
