Mapillary offers world wide street and road views, like Google Street View. Images a released with the CC-BY-SA licence. However, Mapillary was taken over by Meta in 2020.

This community is for anything related to creative commons/public domain/etc. This is a great fit for the community! Posting pictures is one way of keeping the community active (and reminding myself to post), but discussion is heartily welcome.

Didn’t hear about Panoramax yet! They could use the data of Mapillary, since the images are CC-BY-SA, couldn’t they?
Yeah, they should be able to. It’d be good to ask them about mass-importing the data. OpenStreetMap allows for that sort of thing, though they want you to work with them first to make sure it turns out well.
