For me the funniest part of Biden’s presidency was that the public couldn’t give less of a fuck about “How we gonna pay for it?” ghoul mantra. Million or billion or even trillion - the public’s eyes glaze over. Of course ghouls care very deeply so all stuff to benefit the public directly like childcare stuff in Biden’s Build Back Better bill were nuked.

Considering every pittance appropriated towards quality of life improvements is far outstripped by funding for murder at home and abroad, I think people are becoming more aware that “how do we pay” is just an empty mantra to prevent them from having good things
