@SolarMonkey@slrpnk.net I found that when posting this, it’s seemingly not possible to select this community from the community suggestion drop down when creating a post from the main page (instead of clicking create post from within this community, which auto-fills it). Seems there are too many other communities around the threadiverse with the name art in it, which seem to take priority over this one.

I think if the name of the community was changed to Solarpunk Art, it would then pop up with the other Solarpunk X communities we have, and become searchable again.

Sorry I just saw this, I’m not at all opposed to that, but I genuinely don’t know how to do anything like that if that’s something for my doing. I volunteered to be a secondary mod for a few communities a while back - am I primary now?

Either way if you let me know how to make the change I can do it.

Unfortunately Wandering Phoenix (the primary mod) has been MIA for about a year, so you are currently the only active mod now for the Art and Aesthetic communities here.

Either way if you let me know how to make the change I can do it.

On the main page of the Art community, there should be an edit icon toward the top right, just below the community name (looks like a square with a pencil in it). That opens the community edit panel which lets you edit things like the banner, icon, sidebar, and Display Name.

You should be able to change the Display Name to Solarpunk Art, then scroll down until you see the Save and Cancel buttons. Click Save to keep the changed name, and that’s it :)

OK, I learned how to navigate the desktop experience, and it should be changed. :)

Also, that’s unfortunate, but noted that I’m primary now; I’ll try to login more than once a month. :p

Awesome! Appreciate you tackling that ^^

Also, if you’d like, I could add a section asking for volunteers to help you moderate Art and Aesthetic in next month’s Meta post, or alternatively you could ask local slrpnk users who frequently post in those communities if they’d like to become mods, as people are surprisingly open to helping out when asked (though you may want to check their comment history before asking to see if they have a good temperament to be a mod. People who leave really aggressive or abrasive comments may not be the best fit).

Let me know! :D

No problem, I’m just here to facilitate. :p

Probably wouldn’t hurt to have another in case something happens, but I’d prefer it being added to the monthly, if that’s alright. Willing volunteers are oh so nice, and I’m very bad at soliciting :D

No worries, I’ll make sure to add it in next month ^^

I had the same experience when trying to crosspost to here. I was wondering if the community was unlisted somehow.
