‘Global drug hubs near India’, HM Amit Shah calls for crackdown on drug cartels

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, addressing the 2nd National Conference of Heads of Anti-Narcotics Task Force in Delhi, said India must act decisively against drug trafficking to secure the nation’s future. Cautioning that global drug supply hubs are dangerously close to India, Shah stressed the urgent need to protect the young generation to fulfill the dream of a developed India in 2047. He identified three layers of drug cartels and urged a united, aggressive campaign to dismantle them.
