Where to stream Madharaasi online?
While the film continues its theatrical run, 123Telugu reports suggest that Madharaasi is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 3, 2025. If the release date holds, it would arrive on OTT just four weeks after its big-screen debut. The film is expected to be available in Tamil, Telugu, and possibly other regional languages, which could help it reach a much wider audience across India.According to early estimates by Sacnilk.com, Madharaasi has seen a drop in its second week, earning just Rs 0.11 crore recently. With this, the film's total collection in India stands at Rs 59.68 crore. However, Madharaasi is still going strong worldwide and has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the global box office.
Madharaasi is directed and written by AR Murugadoss, who was in need of a successful project after his last outing, Sikandar, failed to strike a chord. With this film, it looks like the director has found his footing again. The story revolves around Raghu, played by Sivakarthikeyan, a young man suffering from Fregoli delusion, a rare mental disorder where he mistakes strangers for his lost family members. Raghu's life takes a sharp turn when an NIA officer, Premnath, recruits him for a high-risk mission to take down a gun-smuggling syndicate operating out of North India.

Meanwhile, villains Virat and Chirag are flooding Tamil Nadu with illegal weapons, and Raghu must push himself to the edge, both physically and mentally, to stop them. The film also features a strong supporting cast, including Biju Menon, Vikranth, and Shabeer Kallarakkal, with Vidyut Jammwal bringing intensity as the villain. Anirudh Ravichander’s music and background score add further strength to the film. Backed by producer NV Prasad, Madharaasi is a commercial entertainer with emotional depth.
