Abstract
Open peer commentary on the article “Brand Management as Cybernetic Practices” by Seiichiro Honjo. Abstract: I raise concerns about the prevalence of brand identity and activism in society and whether it can be beneficial to extend it to so many aspects of our lives as citizens and consumers. It makes us consider the appropriate fields where brand identity and activism are or are not appropriate.
