@marcusgreen @grant_h @nmartignoni things have improved a lot over the decades of moodle's existence, but so have expectations. Today the benchmark for user friendliness is one click install, one click upgrade etc. Many open source projects are getting there. Ofcourse every once in a while you get into major breaking changes, no upgrade paths and other horrors. Low friction is really the not-so-secret sauce for wide adoption.
