@Pikapods this is good but the discussion is the same tired talking point - Lemmy is too small. The sad fact is most people are not willing to go with the “less popular” option even if it’s better. If that’s a human nature thing then it is one of the worst traits about humanity I can think of. You have comment after comment in that discussion to that effect. Great that the OP posted it - sad to see the same drone like response in the comments. One user did make a great point - no reason to use the apps. Delete that crap and just use your browser for better privacy gains.

@nmartignoni I don't have something very specific in mind, but the lower the barriers to development / installation / maintenance the more likely people would come up with new ideas. For example (just brainstorming) sharing an entire moodle setup via an sqlite file.

We’re all on the same team as far as I’m concerned, especially when it comes to keeping people safe from scams, CSAM, child grooming, violent extremism… all the things Osprey and other ROOST tools are explicitly designed to combat.
