This is the map , with some references to Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark map , included in the paperprop set of the Cthulhu Mayan idol. I will be casting and listing units in Etsy ... take a look for them!

Set consisting of an idol of Cthulhu carved in "stone" , a 1920 prop map of Central America , a folder of Miskatonic University with a photo of the idol and log data, a picture of the mayan pyramid where it was found and one map drawn by the Miskatonic expedition to the jungle.
It is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed .
Ideal for thematic collections of Lovecraft, RPG, or collections of curiosities.
This is an OPEN edition , it means that quantity will not be strictly limited . I´ll be casting and preparing more sets in the future.

These days I´ve been learning the basic things to cast from molds. I am very happy with the result , a "bone idol Cthulhu" . Resin color really helps on making this to appear like bone or teeth with a Little bit of polishing and painting after casted.
It is a set that contains two photos , a map , a Miskatonic folder , a  sheet of the museum and one drawing .
I have make my own "Miskatonic" University seal , based on the one  made by Propnomicon  , the reference blog site for all Lovecraft fans.
I also purchased a vintage antarctic map from the '20 that is included as aged print on the set.
My idea is to make sets of this kind from time to time : strange artifacts on small runs .

Estos días he estado aprendiendo las cosas básicas para hacer copias en resina con moldes de silicona. Estoy muy contento con el resultado , un "Ídolo de Cthulhu de hueso". El color de la resina ayuda mucho a la apariencia de hueso o diente tallado con un poco de pulido y pintura.
Es un set que contiene dos fotos , un mapa , una carpetilla de la Universidad de Miskatonic , una hoja del museo y un dibujo
He hecho mi propio logo de la universidad de Miskatonic , basado en el que hizo Propnomicon , el blog de referencia para los fans de Lovecraft.
También compré un mapa antiguo de la Antártida de los años 20 que se incluye como impresión envejecida en el set.
Mi idea es hacer sets de este tipo de cuando en cuando .

This is a map of Numenor isle from J.R.R. Tolkien world.
It is a prop map made by me with different techniques that include watercolour , caligraphy and aging .
It is a high quality print on 100 grs cotton paper that had a very natural and soft touch.
Each one is aged with several layers of watercolour washes , folding , sanding , tearing and staining . This way it looks like a vintage and real map.

Este es un mapa de la isla de Númenor del mundo creado por J.R.R Tolkien
Es un mapa "prop" completamente hecho por mí con diferentes técnicas que incluyen acuarela , caligrafía y envejecido.
Es una impresión de alta calidad en papel con algodón de 100 grs que tiene un tacto muy natural y suave.
Cada uno está envejecido con varias capas de acuarela , doblados , lijado , rasgado (levemente) y manchado . Parece un mapa auténtico antiguo.

The  ​​cryptozoologist Octavius Zedock, obtained this specimen of  feejee mermaid during a Theosophical Society expedition to Fiji islands.
He was investigating the myth of mermaids that were shown in several traveling shows in the U.S.. realizing that they were all a fraud.
Through contacts of P.T. Barnum, (a famous showman in these years ), he discovered the real origin of these mermaids and decided to travel in order to discover if there was something real behind the myth.
This box contains the mummified corpse of a young specimen of feejee mermaid , egg remains , an adult tooth , photographs , newspaper clippings and a travel journal.

El criptozoólogo Octavius Zedock , obtuvo este especimen de sirena de feejee durante una expedición de la Sociedad Teosófica a las islas Fiji.
Estaba investigando el mito de las sirenas que se mostraban en shows itinerantes a través de los EEUU y se dió cuenta que todos eran un fraude.
A través de contactos de P.T. Barnum ( un famoso showman durante esos años ) , descubrió el origen real de estas sirenas y decidió viajar a Fiji para descubrir si había algo de real detrás del mito.
La caja contiene el cuerpo momificado de un ejemplar joven de sirena feejee , restos del huevo , un diente de adulto , fotos , recortes de periódico y un diario de viaje.

After seeing the Hobbit movie , I decide to make something movie-related.
This hobbit-style recipes are a set of 5 paperprops of 4 cooking recipes and the portrait of Belladonna Tuk , Bilbo´s mother.
Three of these are totally handmade from paper ageing to caligraphy , using a caligraphic pen with ink and walnut cristal ink solution. Papers are aged with watercolors .
Belladonna portrait and Mushrooms recipe are printed paperprops , but the paper ageing is also manual.
I´ve chosen diferent brands of paper to make it more realistic and different from the almost always used industrial sketch paper . I think the touch of paperprops is also important .


Después de ver la película de El Hobbit , decidí hacer algo relacionado con el cine.
Estas recetas de estilo hobbit son un set de 5 paperprops de 4 recetas de cocina y el retrato de Belladonna Tuk , la madre de Bilbo.
Tres son totalmente hechas a mano : tanto el envejecido del papel como la caligrafía , usando unas plumas caligráficas con tinta y solución de nogalina. Los papeles están envejecidos con acuarelas.
El retrato de Belladonna y la receta de champiñones son paperprops impresos , pero el envejecido del papel es también manual.
He escogido diferentes marcas de papel para hacerlas más realistas y diferentes del casi siempre usado folio industrial de los paperprops. Creo que el tacto en los paperprops es también importante.

In July 1947 in the town of Roswell, New Mexico, a flying saucer crashed with its crew.
The U.S. Army quickly closed the area and began a series of strategies of disinformation to hide this fact.
It is known that the remains of the aircraft and its crew were taken to a military base known as Area 51. Those remains are still there except this stolen specimen: the specimen R/01/RAAF , an embryo , probably a clon of this specie.
The prop set includes everything you see in the pictures:
A specimen of alien clone embryo , a sample of unknown alloy ,two reproductions of the first pages of the newspaper from Roswell (great for framing!!! and HUGE !!!) , various photographies , Fbi documents ...
The alien is a sculpture made ​​with polymer clay OOAK textured and painted. No mold has been used in their realization nor molds has been taken from it. This is a unique piece that will never be replicated.
The box is a real metal vintage one with aerographed letters of the USA airforces ( USAAF called in this years)


En Julio de 1947 en el pueblo de roswell , Nuevo México , un platillo volante se estrelló con sus tripulantes a bordo.
El ejercito americano rápidamente cerró la zona e inició una serie de estrategias de desinformación para ocultar este hecho.
Se sabe que los restos de la aeronave , así como sus tripulantes se llevaron a una base militar conocida como Area 51 . Allí continúan esos restos salvo este especimen robado . El ejemplar R/01/RAAF , un embrión , probablemente un clon de esta especie.
El set incluye todo lo que se ve en las fotos : Un ejemplar de embrión clon alienígena , una muestra de aleación desconocida dos reproducciones de las primeras hojas del periódico de Roswell a tamaño real ( muy buenas para enmarcar!!! y enormes!) , set de fotos , documentos del fbi...
El alien es una escultura OOAK realizada con arcilla polimérica texturada y pintada . Ningún molde se ha empleado en su realización ni se han hecho moldes de ella. Se trata de una pieza única que nunca será replicada.
La caja es de metal y antigua , con las letras aerografiadas de el ejército del aire americano ( USAAF en esos años )
