Congratulations to the 2026 Texas National Team for winning 7th Place Team, and to our individual competitors Shaheem Samsudeen for making it to Countdown Round Quarterfinalist, and James Stewart for making it to Countdown Round Participant based on their Written Competition performance. The 2026 RTX MATHCOUNTS National Competition was held in Orlando, FL from May 10-11, 2026, and the Texas National Team consisted of: Shaheem Samsudeen (Rice Middle School - 8th grade), Ethan Santos (Santos Homeschool - 8th grade), James Stewart (Evergreen Preparatory - 7th grade), and Audrey Wu (Davidson Academy Online - 7th grade), coached by Allison Hicks (Fort Settlement Middle School).
