Generative AI is nearing saturation, while AI computing investments climb to trillions. Projected demand for that capacity falls USD 800 million short! A much needed leap may come from digitally modelling minds, which requires a lot of compute. It can also enable completely new kinds of use cases and thus grow demand. Reidar Wasenius presents how memetics, being developed at Aalto University as a rigorous system of self-replicating cognitive patterns, could redefine AI and create the next wave of computational demand.
