Rules
Our doors are open to creative minds all over the world, so we want to encourage a positive environment where everyone feels welcome. This is a shortened version. Please read the full Community Rules.
1. How you can help - Report rule violations, not things you disagree with or dislike, credit the original artist, post to the appropriate category (if you’re confused, contact us), be constructive with your criticisms (read the Critique Guidelines), treat other artists like people, be nice and try not to make assumptions.
2. Prohibited content - Stuff that is illegal, spam, pornographic, personal and confidential information, encourages violence or self-harm, threatens, harasses, bullies, impersonates someone, or solicits any transaction or gift.
3. Unwelcomed behavior - Vote manipulation, breaking Proko, creating multiple accounts, being antagonistic, rude, or arguing in bad faith to intentionally upset others, asking users to attack, flame or troll others, online or in real life, promoting yourself out of context, soliciting artists for free work, and posting customer support requests (contact support instead).
4. Moderators make choices for the health of the community - They’ll follow along with written rules when possible, but are allowed to use their own judgment. Please keep in mind the spirit in which these were written. We give our moderation staff full authority to use these as guidelines rather than a comprehensive list. Do not actively look for loopholes.
5. Moderators are allowed to - Remind you of rules and guidelines, warn you about your behavior, remove content, and ban accounts temporarily or permanently.
6. If you disagree with another user or see poor behavior - Report issues rather than countering with equally rule-breaking actions. Moderators are happy to check out a situation, but remember that it is their discretion if the content is inappropriate or not. If two users are being inexplicably awful to each other, both may be removed from the community.
7. If you have a problem with a moderator or a moderating decision - Escalate to another moderator or administrator. If you’ve been banned and you feel like this was done in mistake, please contact us.
