WERTHEIMER: Federal prosecutors have charged a seventh person for conspiracy and securities fraud in a widening investigation. Winifred Jiau is a consultant for what's known as an expert-network company. These firms, including several in California, are the focus of the investigation. Prosecutors say the companies are illegally providing inside information about technology companies to big investors.
