Ray Dalio
Founder, CIO Mentor & Member of the Board
Bridgewater Associates
Ray Dalio is the founder, CIO Mentor and member of the board of Bridgewater Associates, a global macroeconomic investment management firm and the largest hedge fund in the world. Ray started Bridgewater out of his two-bedroom apartment in New York in 1975 and under his guidance, has grown the firm into the 5th most important company in the U.S., according to Fortune Magazine, and has led it to make more money for clients than any other hedge fund since its inception, according to LCH Investments.
Ray has been a global macro investor for more than 50 years, which has required him to gain a deep understanding of global economics and investing. Under his guidance, Bridgewater has introduced several industry-changing approaches to investing, including risk parity, the separation of alpha and beta, and currency overlay strategies. For his innovative work as well as being a valued advisor to many global policy makers, Ray has also been called the “Steve Jobs of Investing” by CIO Magazine and Wired Magazine, and has been named one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People.
Ray is also a long-running New York Times best-selling author as a result of his popular books Principles: Life and Work (released in 2017) and Principles for Dealing with the Changing World Order (released in 2021). Principles outlines Ray’s principles for work and life, the foundation of Bridgewater’s distinctive culture that strives to create “meaningful work and meaningful relationships through radical truth and radical transparency;” Ray also attributes them as the key to his and Bridgewater’s success. As a result of the book’s popularity, Ray distilled it into the engaging and easy-to-read illustrated novel for readers of all ages – Principles for Success. Changing World Order, comprises Ray’s multi-year, in-depth study of the last 500 years of history to determine what causes empires to succeed and fail as world powers. In 2018, he and Bridgewater co-published Principles for Navigating Big Debt Crises, the first public dissemination of their research on these economic events, which enabled them to anticipate the 2008 Global Financial Crisis.
Ray graduated with a B.S. in Finance from C.W. Post College in 1971 and holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School circa 1973. He has been married to his wife, Barbara, for more than 40 years and is an active philanthropist with a special interest in ocean exploration, microfinance and equal educational opportunities for underprivileged youth. For his work in this space, he has been named one of the 50 largest philanthropists in the U.S., according to Forbes Magazine.

Edebiri made Emmy history as the first woman ever nominated in the same year for both Outstanding Lead Actress and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series with THE BEAR. In addition, Gina Prince-Bythewood is directing Paramount’s adaptation of Tomi Adeyemi’s bestselling novel CHILDREN OF BLOOD AND BONE.

Mark Donovan

Kansas City Chiefs
Mark Donovan
President
Kansas City Chiefs
Entering his 17th season with the Kansas City Chiefs and 27th in the NFL, Mark Donovan is one of the league's most innovative and impactful executives. As President of the Chiefs, Donovan oversees all aspects of the team's business operations and has been instrumental in shaping the club into a global sports and entertainment powerhouse.
Under Donovan's leadership, the Chiefs have become a model NFL franchise—pioneering digital ticketing, expanding international social engagement and fandom, and securing game-changing partnerships including the club's first-ever naming rights deal for GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. He spearheaded the creation of Foolish Club Studios, elevated Arrowhead Events into a premier national venue brand, and helped deliver landmark moments such as hosting the 2023 NFL Draft, securing six 2026 FIFA World Cup matches (including a quarterfinal), and staging major events like the return of NCAA Division I football and the launch of the Battle Sports Kansas City Classic.
Donovan has championed a modern, content-driven approach to brand expansion, with the Chiefs becoming the number one fanbase in the NFL and leading the league in platforms like TikTok and YouTube. The club now ranks in the top three in fandom across all nine of the NFL's international markets—and is number one in six of them. He has also guided the club's multi-market growth strategy under the NFL Global Markets Program, securing global marketing and commercialization rights and building lasting fan and business engagement across Europe and Latin America.
Locally, Donovan has driven significant economic and civic impact. The Chiefs and events at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium generate nearly $1 billion annually for the Kansas City region, supporting 6,000 jobs and contributing over $28 million in tax revenue to the State of Missouri. He has also played a pivotal role in the franchise's future stadium planning, working closely with both Missouri and Kansas officials to evaluate all long-term options—underscoring his commitment to sustained success both on and off the field.
A former Brown University quarterback, Donovan previously held senior roles at the NFL league office, the NHL, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Under his leadership, the Chiefs are a two-time Kansas City Business Journal "Champion of Business," and he was named the 2021 Kansas City Sports Executive of the Year. A respected civic leader committed to community impact and service, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Hunt Family Foundation, has championed numerous other causes, and has redefined the club's charitable strategy to deliver a greater, more focused impact across the region.

As a Motion Picture Agent, Dakhil represents some of the world’s most successful actors, writers, and directors, guiding such luminary talent as Tom Cruise, Ava DuVernay, Reese Witherspoon, Gina Prince-Bythewood, Mindy Kaling, Madonna, Sam Mendes, Natalie Portman, Chloé Zhao, Lena Dunham, Ayo Edebiri, Justine Triet, Melina Matsoukas, Juan Antonio Bayona, Yorgos Lanthimos, Olivia Wilde, Denis Villeneuve, Steve McQueen, Lenny Abrahamson, Danny Strong, Dakota Johnson, Anne Hathaway, Lisa Joy, and Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground, among others. She also recently signed Adam McKay and his multi-platform production company, Hyperobject Industries.
In her leadership roles at CAA as Managing Director, Co-Chair of CAA Amplify, and Co-Head of the International Film Group, Dakhil advances the agency’s inclusion initiatives, connects underrepresented talent to global opportunities, and helps expand the motion picture department’s global reach. She is recognized for building long-term strategies with clients that often extend to producing, financing, and launching their own companies, including Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, Portman’s Mountain A, and Dunham’s Good Thing Going, plus others.
Dakhil positions her clients at the forefront of the biggest moments in pop culture. Highlights over the past year include Cruise’s final installment of the $4.35 billion MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE franchise, which premiered at Cannes; Cruise will next be seen in Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s DIGGER for Warner Bros. She orchestrated a landmark deal for Villeneuve, currently in production on DUNE: MESSIAH, the third installment of the $1 billion franchise, to direct the next JAMES BOND film for Amazon MGM Studios. She also closed a two-client package for Dunham and Portman: the Netflix series TOO MUCH, which premiered to rave reviews, and the feature GOOD SEX, which sold to Netflix in a $55 million deal—one of the largest EFM sales ever.
Additional milestones include Hathaway headlining four consecutive projects, culminating this summer with THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA and a starring role in Christopher Nolan’s THE ODYSSEY, his follow-up to the Oscar-winning OPPENHEIMER. Johnson delivered one of A24’s strongest box office performances with MATERIALISTS, directed by Celine Song and co-starring Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal, which has grossed over $108 million worldwide. Witherspoon continued to expand her presence on screen and behind the camera, with Dakhil closing the deal for the next season of THE MORNING SHOW just as the series returned with its highly anticipated premiere. Joy’s FALLOUT at Amazon MGM Studios drew more than 65 million viewers in its first two weeks to become one of Prime Video’s biggest launches and was swiftly renewed for a second season.
Dakhil’s clients made a major mark on the recent festival circuit. Zhao’s HAMNET, starring Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley, premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival ahead of its release Lanthimos, fresh off his Best Picture win for POOR THINGS, debuted BUGONIA at Venice, where it competed for the Golden Lion and won the festival’s Green Drop Award.
In the international space, Dakhil continues to champion auteurs shaping global cinema. Hwang Dong-hyuk’s SQUID GAME concluded with its third and final season, breaking Netflix records with more than 60 million views and 368 million hours watched in its first three days. Rungano Nyoni won Best Director at Cannes for ON BECOMING A GUINEA FOWL. Justin Kurzel’s THE NARROW ROAD TO THE DEEP NORTH premiered at the Berlinale before releasing globally on Prime Video. Lukas Dhont is developing COWARD after CLOSE earned an Academy Award nomination, and Jasmila Žbanić is preparing her next feature following the acclaim of QUO VADIS, AIDA?.
