Big Brother's Marcus and Elsa found their budding showmance hit a snag on Wednesday's episode.

Fellow housemate Caroline told the house, 'we've got a beautiful couple that have found love,' referring to them.

Marcus didn't appear to like the comment however as he pulled a face and said: 'Oh, L-O-V-E,' which raised eyebrows with the other housemates.

His tone made Elsa worry that she has been bothering him so the pair had a heart-to-heart outside.

'I just feel like I'm in my own head in this house. And I just don't know if I'm overthinking, but I just feel I'm annoying,' she said.

'I do feel like I bother you a lot.'

Marcus appeared confused so Elsa went on: 'Well you just got all funny when Caroline was like "oh, and here we have the two lovers." And you was like "Love?" Like all sassy about it.'

Earlier in the episode, Caroline asked Elsa: 'Did you have sex last night? Because you’re glowing.”

Taken by surprise, Elsa said later: 'I can’t believe Caroline asked that. I was like ‘what, your skin glows after sex? I don’t know why I’m glowing. Maybe because I’m in love.'

It comes after Big Brother revealed that Nancy and Sam received the most nominations from their fellow Housemates ahead of Friday night’s fake live eviction.

On Tuesday, Nancy received seven nominations from Cameron, Feyisola, Jenny, Marcus, Richard, Teja and Zelah. Meanwhile, Sam received four nominations from Elsa, Jenny, Marcus and Tate.

However, in a shock twist, Friday’s eviction will in fact be a fake eviction and unbeknown to their fellow Housemates, the ‘evicted’ Housemate will move into a secret room. And they won’t be alone...

Previously announced by hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best last week, the ‘evicted’ Housemate will be welcomed by two former Big Brother Housemates who ‘left too soon’.

Voting for Friday’s fake eviction is open with viewers being asked to vote for the Housemate they wish to send to the secret room.

Friday night will see either Nancy or Sam sent to the secret room alongside two former contestants.
