THRESHOLD
You are the night officer at Border Checkpoint Unit 7, Sector D.
Your job: process travelers. Check documents. Use your tools. Make a call.
But something is wrong. Some of them aren't what they appear to be.
---
THRESHOLD is a short browser-based border inspection game inspired by Papers, Please. Over three nights, you'll screen travelers using
three tools — a document scanner, an ultraviolet light, and an angle camera — looking for anomalies that don't belong.
The anomalies aren't always obvious. Sometimes the permit is expired. Sometimes the reflection is wrong. Sometimes the shadow simply
isn't there.
---
HOW TO PLAY
Examine the document card. Look at the nationality, the permit number, the dates.
Use your tools: SCAN DOC detects forgeries, UV LIGHT reveals what's hidden, ANGLE CAM shows what the body is really doing.
Press PASS to open the gate — or DENY to hold the subject.
Every breach counts. Every traveler you let through that shouldn't have passed… counts.
Three nights. 34 travelers. 20 anomalies.
---
