Adeptus Custodes - Allarus Terminator Custodians

Hello All, thanks for dropping by, the second of a number of Adeptus Custodes reinforcements, last week's Shield Captain was a spare up for auction, but these are the first being added to my Custodes force this year. I have a number of models on the to-do pile inbetween Titans and Relictors, so something shiny and gold is a nice break from blues or grey!

Two are armed with Custodian Spears and one with Castellan Axe

The cloaks of these warriors really sets them apart from the Custodian Guardians.

I chose red plume and red Pauldrons not to distract from the rest of the Guardians scheme, but I have plans for a second squad of Praetorian type Allarus Terminators using purple as the contrasting colour.

This was first modelled as a Vexilus Praetor, but careful Vexilla removal at the hand meant I could add a slightly modified (shorter haft at bottom) Guardian Spear. I quite like a mix of weapons across the army to choose, so the next squad will have Castellan Axes for the higher toughness enemies like Vehicles.

This one also has a Guardian Spear for more attacks and better AP, but sacrifices a little Strength and Damage over the Axe. Monsters in combat as they should be, but with my saving throws - maybe die quickly!

WIP - Walking Cathedral

Hello one and all!

This week has been spent mostly with the printers, with me working on getting a couple of prints complete. I wanted to show a couple of pics of one of the bigger kits! Long OOP by any official sources.

This one is the 'Walking Cathedral' aka the Imperator Titan, that I am doing for a fellow ToC member. It's slowly coming together, and potentially I am thinking I might need to do a second one for me!

These are done on my Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra, using Elegoo resin, and chitubox.

Adeptus Custodes - Shield Captain in Allarus Terminator Armour

Hello All, thanks for dropping by. Had a spare Allarus Terminator with the Shield Captain Pauldrons so painted up the few details to make as a Shield Captain for sale on eBay rather than a generic Allarus Custodes.

Added highlights to the plume, and skin

Painted the gold leaf thread in the cloak to mark out as a Shield Captain over a normal Allarus Custodes, and added detail to the Castellan Axe rather than have it plain and unadorned.

Painted the Ballistus Grenade Launcher and based the rim a more generic brown (Steel Legion Drab I think). Hopefully will find a new home as I am currently awash with Allarus Custodians... two squads of Custodes and already have a Shield Captain and Vexilus Praetor.

WIP - Deathwatch Captain with Jump Pack

Hello all,

This weeks offering is a couple of WIP pics of my Deathwatch Captain, with Jump pack. This model has been magnetised to allow hot swap of all the weapons on the sprue, and head options. Moreover, there is a 3D printed smoke stack, rather than the silly flimsy flying bases.

The model has had the same scheme as per my Deathwatch, with the jump pack having additional flashes of red to the vents. There is also an addition of a Primaris Relictor Helmet to the base.. what happened to the marine in question is a mystery.

Squaduary 2026 - COMPLETED - Relictors Chapter Primaris Intercessors

Well, thats another Squaduary February hobby challenge for myself wrapped up. A successful month with a Titan Walk, some titan weapons and more importantly, a Squad of Primaris Intercessors which were languishing around since the release of First Strike boxed game back at the start of Primaris releases!

I removed the Sergeant helmet from the waistband, and added pouches in its place, added a disc to raise the helmet slightly and painted in codex compliant Red to denote his rank.

These two identical Marines (First Strike sprue had 3 different marines only) have had a Reiver arm replacement with combat blade and scabbard, whilst the Auspex holding Marine is box standard. Head placement direction also makes a difference.

These two identical Marines have had different head placement, and a few changes to Purity Seals. Removing one from a Pauldron, adding once to the waist and Bolt Rifle.

Another Primaris Intercessor 5-man Squad to add to the extensive Relictors Battle Companies, and 5 less Marines on the to-do mountain!
