I’ve actually had a lot of cats. Literally never needed to trim their nails. I guess we’ve got different ideas on how to look after cats. Each to their own.
No. Get a scratching post or two, you shouldn’t need to trim them.
Different path. Look at the number in the path, it changes.
Sleep maxing.
Sleep mask plus earphones that are specifically designed for sleeping (white noise, soft, low profile against pillow).

3·25 days agoCollabora has also released a desktop version. I’ve been giving it a go and its UI is pretty nice, but its still fairly buggy at the moment. Keeping an eye on it for sure.
Normally there are different groups of people working on different things. So those that are working on one thing probably aren’t interested in working on anything else.
Then proceed to buy it online.
This has easily been happening for at least the last 25-30 years.

Programming@programming.dev•I haven't written code at all these holidays
8·1 month agoAs they say, the last 20% of a project takes 80% of the time. Thats where all the boring stuff lives or the stuff that you’ve put off over and over again.
Get through it and you’ll be able to get back to the stuff you enjoy again.

Programming@programming.dev•I haven't written code at all these holidays
9·1 month agoNot a bad idea really. Though if there is a problem I can’t solve within the hour, I tend to dwell on it and work through it in my head until I can get back to it. Thought just going cold turkey (so to speak) for the holidays might be better this time around.

Programming@programming.dev•I haven't written code at all these holidays
6·1 month agoI think this year will be a lot less code at work, and more documentation etc for sure. So that might actually help keep me motivated with my own projects to keep on that coding mindset.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Switching to AMD GPU for better gaming performance?
1·2 months agoI understand. The 3070ti is still a good card - I personally think you might be disappointed getting an equivalent AMD card because its no guarantee to solve your problems or improve performance.
Again this is all my personal opinion etc, weigh up your pros and cons. Prices can vary a lot in different regions. You might be able to snatch up a bargain.

Sweet, I’ll have to trawl through some resources and try to figure out what to get. Its far more complicated then I thought ha ha
