One of the closer things I’ve got to a “job” is modernizing iPods for people. Didn’t read the article but they’re great. USB-C, bluetooth, battery replacement and storage upgrade are kinda the standard upfit, $150-200. Highly recommend. 5th gen classic is “best” but it’s pretty polished across the range at this point
