Huh. Took 'em a while. A few years of Reagan proved that point long ago.
Turns out that treating human beings as either sentient wallets or meat automatons is dehumanising. Who would have thought?
Yay Breezewood interchange
Looks like that photo was taken from the balcony of room 10 at the Sonrise Inn. Or maybe the parking lot of the Wiltshire.
How does it rank against living, in general? Something tells me most political ideologies are “bad for the mental health of” everyone. 🤪
edit: likewise, downvotes w/o any further interaction, much less discussion, but y’all do you. It’s going great.
I think you know the bullshit the article is talking about:
neoliberal economic policies — characterized by privatization, austerity measures, deregulation, and an emphasis on individual competition — have significant negative effects on mental health and psychological well-being across populations.
He knows. He’s choosing to be a cunt.
Yes, let’s make sweeping generalities to pander to our base. Wheeee
Lets make policies that benefit us and stop the oligarchy from turning all of us and our progeny into surfs, yeah? Neoliberals cant do that.
autocorrect/spellcheck tripped you up friend: it’s serf (as in serfdom) ;)
It should be rather obvious that “Rugged Individualism” is loneliness inducing state policy. Mental health varies between countries and regions. Saying all ideologies are bad is just kind of an unserious/lazy way to approach the facts.
