Sure, but living in nature isn’t this happy go lucky life of leisure. You’re constantly exposed to the elements, threats from predators/competitors, spend most of your day looking for food. Also apes who live in communities do have social expectations and hierarchies.

Sadly, they may be more aggressive than we first thought. Probably not as bad as chimps… Or humans.
