The point is that we still live and will live under global capitalism and imperialism even if oligarchs extract bigger rents. The main difference between now and back then is that there’s less communist parties in power so countries can be as neoliberal as they want. Even the stuff you mention was largely inaccessible for black and indigenous people and it only came about through organizing as a temporary concession. This is just capitalism in a more advanced stage.

You backpedaled after being called out, and it’s particularly annoying because removing permanently can also mean extermination. But giving you grace and only interpreting it as rehabilitation (assuming the individual is deemed to no longer be a danger to others), it’s still impossible to enforce until there’s a crime.

That is appalling, and I don’t mean to diminish the importance of this, but if the claims on fascism stand to scrutiny then it’s not relevant, and if the claims don’t stand to scrutiny they can be easily refuted.

Honestly reading theory makes me more resilient to this kinda thing, and organizing or at least volunteering is even better (assuming you’re able), but either way there’s absolutely a lot of shit going on and it’s very valid to get burned out. Just giving some ideas that help me cope just in case they can make your time on earth more tolerable.
