Japan rezoned their housing federally to allow housing to be built, which dramatically lowered their housing prices. Many country in Europe I think usually do the opposite.

I spent 2 hours playing connections today and then went home early. Office jobs are amazing.
Contrast that to subsistence farming or manufacturing widgets in China.

Why not change the ruler every 6 months as well, move between metric and imperial. We can fuck things up that depend on measuring distance as well.

12·5 hours agoGDP seemed relatively stable prior to 2008, while since Trudeau started we have been second last in the 38 countries of the OECD in per capita GDP growth. Immigration charts I’ve seen look substantially higher. Are these charts wrong?
https://www.macrotrends.net/global-metrics/countries/can/canada/gdp-per-capita
Trudeau also had massive inflation from QE and government spending to raise GDP, and far more debt, where hamburgers now cost 21$. It seems silly to compare the two, just look at food bank usage and housing prices; how could anyone say they were comparable, unless they were a scumlord harbouring TFW in your basement profiting off what the UN called modern slavery?

1·5 hours agoHarper wanted high home values? Why did rents fall relative to income under him then, and why were immigration levels the same as every PM before him?
As far as deficits it seemed like Harper had a plan to a balanced budget, and he was undergoing keynesian economics during the GFC, as a trained keynesian economist. Am I wrong?
Whats next, removing the inflation targeting that is actively eroding salaries and the minimum wage?
Imagine not having to ask for a raise but your cost of living getting cheaper, cant have that because no one would buy anything and we would all starve to death. Trust in the science told to us by the gods of corporate bailouts.

Its weird how birth rates started to fall dramatically in 1971, and continued to fall since then, as home price to median income somehow rose dramatically. Did something happen in 1971 that would oppress young people, some kind of gatekeeping mechanism that made them worse off financially?
