Product diversification is a strategy in which a company expands its range of products(or even branches into a completely different field) to reduce its business risks and increase revenues.
It certainly fits the vibe, but taking the example from the last comic, we went from two plausibly similar guesses to a near perfect match. I think there’s a better match on the pose (and probably lighting) out there. I’d bet it’s not a cupcake, though.
This one isn’t accurate either, but the pointing gesture to the left I thought was something from Spongebob or another cartoon, but I can’t find where it is. It might be related to the sad cupcake pose.
