Don’t feel so good call the doctor
Don’t take my health plan, man what a shocker
Wanna travel out make a city escape
Staying out late with my audio tapes
Check my schedule grab my metro Lookin retro like a villain
Who’s been scheming and been dreaming hiding out in a pavilion
Making stops on all the local spots and looking for more
Making swaps with what the yokels got And drop to the floor
Surrounded by friends
imagine my surprise to learn
You can’t fast travel
With enemies nearby
Scavenge everything you can Make yourself a useful man
For a band or for a grand grab everything that you can carry
Get your shovel and bury Your feelings, revealing, you’re stealing
Your own time and it’s not appealing
Wasted in a wasteland Tasteless and it and it taste bad
Losing all your wealth’s hard Lowering your health bar
How far can you go before you need to focus on your own scars
Surrounded by friends
imagine my surprise to learn
You can’t fast travel
With enemies nearby

I told her one day I would show us the stars,
find us a planet and settle down so far away
I would take her away
But there’s no space mayflowers and no flying cars,
No bright-eyed spacemen sitting way up on mars, not today
No not today
They promised the moon and they promised the sun,
But all we got was one earth and millions of tons,
Of oil in the oceans, ozone in the skies
And now we sit and watch as our only world dies
But what if tomorrow was just like they said?
We’d take to the skies, rockets shiny and red,
But in the end, this isn’t Tomorrowland
The company said that it’d be different up here,
One big adventure, without all the dirt and the fear.
Now it’s been 15 years
Of absolute darkness, of asteroid dust,
And she’s back at home getting old with someone and I just,
Watch the base turn to rust.
They promised the moon and they promised the sun,
But all we got was mines to build even more guns,
The void is our home, and I thought that this time,
I’d do much more than just sit and watch as it dies
But what if tomorrow was just like they said?
We’d sail through the black, rockets shiny and red,
But in the end, this isn’t Tomorrowland

The Sun beats down
On hot red plains
As steel buzzards circle the skies
What once was Las Vegas
Is now only sand,
And dogs pick the bones of mankind
The Steam Knights of the New West,
Defending mankind from machines,
When computers rise up,
They’ll begin their roundup,
The new world is horses and steam
A shining knight,
Revolver in hand,
Dismounts his mechanical steed,
To vanquish the devils,
The monsters of steel,
He roams like the old tumbleweed.
The Steam Knights of the New West,
They’re gamblers, they’re sinners, they’re saints,
Got an ace up the sleeve
But there’s no one to grieve
When the Outlaws were programmed to hate.
The Steam Knights of the New West!
