I’m not a US citizen but I still act similar in my local elections - vote for the candidate that will do less evil when they’re in office, if there is no better option. And I gotta hand it to the DNC they’re really amazing at just cutting off their own legs. Because shooting themselves in the knee can’t describe this.

It looks very nice, but unfortunately it’ll likely not really reach mass-appeal just due to no proper mobile app (yet).

Personally I’ll definitely look into moving over with the communities I really enjoy using - but the masses will not move in my experience. You can see with how reddit still exists.

Sorry, not replying to everyone individually, because I did not at all expect so many replies.

Thank you all for your recommendations, for now I did go with a Tefal set with ceramic coating.

I’ll however keep all the amazing recommendations in mind for the future or when family & friends are asking for my input.

And to the stainless/cast iron crowd - I hear you and maybe in the future I’ll go for a stainless pan - for now I’ll non-stick with the ceramic ones. I’m already convinced with pots, but never got to try it for pans and am not in a point in my life to throw a good bit of money at a pan that I maybe never use because I don’t like it.

I did a similar thing with all my sheets - run over them with super high grit (400/800) sandpaper once or twice, clean with IPA and paper towels and since then I’ve never had any issues with prints not sticking

a) Es gibt 60% mehr Unfälle mit 125cc Motorrädern b) Motorräder haben eine 20x höhere Unfallwahrscheinlichkeit (fahrleistungsbezogen)

Ich selbst fahre nur 125cc und keine ‘großes’ Motorrad, aber mMn fehlt die Kennzahl wie viele 125cc Motorräder es absolut mehr gibt. Wenn es z.B. vorher 10k gab und durch den B196 nun 25k gibt, dann würde das bedeuten, dass der B196 eine bessere Zusatzausbilung darstellt - oder einfach das Personen die mit Ü25 und mehreren Jahren Erfahrung im Pkw einen Motorradschein machen ein bisschen gelassener fahren als jemand mit 16.

Ich fahre selbst in AT 125 - und durch das Motorradfahren habe ich erst wieder gelernt wie ‘unsichtbar’ du auf einem Zweirad jeglicher Art bist - PKWs die einfach nur auf eine Seite guggen beim Abbiegen und dich dann einfach übern Haufn fahren - also es wundert mich nicht, dass es leider mehr Unfälle gibt, auch weil die Ausbildungszeit doch relativ kurz ist.

Neu gelernt nein - ich hatte mit Schreibschrift immer eine ziemliche Sauklaue (so schlimm, dass mir damals ein Lehrer Seiten aus meinem Vokabelheft gerissen hat, mit den Worten ‘schreib es neu’). Hab mir dann von einem Klassenkollegen ‘abgeguckt’ zum Teil Buchstaben in Druckschrift zu schreiben - und jetzt ist meine Schrift ein Mix aus beidem, aber deutlich leserlicher + gleich schnell wie Schreibschrift - unter anderem deswegen weil ich nicht mehr alle Buchstaben verbinde.

As far as I know most of Metabo’s stuff is made in the EU. Not everything mind you but in general I’ve heard very good things about them & the tools I’ve used from them (mitre saw) were pretty nice

With my colleagues I always compare it to a battery powered drill. It’s very powerful and can make shit a lot easier. But you’d not try to build furniture from scratch with only a battery powered drill.

You need the knowledge to use it - and also saws, screws, the proper bits for those screws and so on and so forth.
