    Create a Quick Note on Mac

    With Quick Note, you can jot down ideas and add links, no matter what you’re doing on your Mac. Your Quick Note stays visible on the screen while it’s open, so you can easily select and add information from other apps.

    Create a Quick Note

    If you’re working in another app and want to write something down, you can easily create a Quick Note. Do one of the following:

    • Use the keyboard shortcut: Press and hold the Fn key or Globe key, then press Q.

    • Use hot corners: Move the pointer to the bottom-right corner of the screen (the default hot corner for Quick Note), then click the note that appears. To change or turn off the hot corner, see
