I'm a Linux and programming enthusiast, and I'm also a privacy activist.
🧉 Martin I already wrote one for myself: subreply.com/marti.... Check out 's recent post for links to the repo he's started to track the code for everyone's efforts.
đŸŠ„ Ash I wish it were possible to set the theme in the settings. I want dark mode but the website doesn't pick up that I use it, most likely due to my privacy and security configurations. I'd rather not have to write a userstyle just to get dark mode.

👉 LĂ©o Age of Empires II and older versions of Grand Theft Auto! It seems about once a year or so I end up reinstalling one of those on my computer, play with it for a week, and then delete it.
đŸŠ„ Ash Aw man Age of Empires! I completely forgot about that series. I remember having a lot of fun with the first and second games. I should really play them again sometime, especially the first one.
🐝 Busy Bee unique emoji thing is an anti-feature, what's the point of disallowing someone from favoring two certain emojis, if they have a different username?
đŸŠ„ Ash I agree. I hope it gets changed at some point.
đŸŠ„ Ash People who don't really play games anymore: What games do you find yourself going back to every once in a while? Personally, I still catch myself playing Morrowind and DOOM (1993).
John Athon OpenRA, little ChronoTrigger and ActRaiser when I feel nostalgic. Doom 2 was the first shooter I played online using Kali, good ole days but I could never get into it single player.

đŸ’» Kenneth Jensen I got back in. '93 Doom and Morrowind are top shelf for me. Oblivion is good too. Half-Life 1 and 2, the classics. I just got into Blood (use BloodGDX!) and reinstalled RCT3 for the first time in years. Fallout 1, 2, 3, and New Vegas. Halo 1 and 3 are always so fun (check out Cursed Halo). GTA San Andreas. I miss Minecraft Classic and Alpha/Beta. Nethack will never not be my pitfall. Dwarf Fortress is really really fun (I need to push my limits more in this game!).
Dan Heath Said in another thread - I like a bit of Civ 6 but will go back to Civ 3 once in a while, HOMM3, and Total Annihilation.
☁ Will Nethack, System Shock, Cyclone
🧉 Martin I've been playing a lot of Red Alert 2 again (via a Windows VM) thanks to cncnet.org. So much nostalgia!
🧿 Andrea When I'm in the right mood it's Ultima Online time
👂 Sly OpenRA from time to time, I also play Dwarf Fortress when i want some FUN!
👹‍🎓 Edward Factorio (actively developed) and Pharaoh (1999). Outcast (1999) is one of the greatest games ever, but I never managed to play through on a modern computer. OpenOutcast never happened iirc...
⚙ Vdo Quake and Quake 3
M_dow Portal and Portal 2. I seriously just finished sinking several nights into replaying them. I thought Chips Challenge would be the same way, but it's just frustrating.
Chetan Vashisht Captain claw and Pokemon RSE. Even tho I don't play anymore, when I'm bored I watch a quick speed run on Youtube. Really helps!
Sibachian I return to Minecraft once a year. It's just packed with so much nostalgia for me.
🎣 Fish What different OS are people running? Always been intrigued by Linux as a forever windows user and im finally trying some out. Ive seen Tails, and Puppy Linux so far. Any recommendations?
đŸŠ„ Ash Gentoo and LFS are what I'm using. But for someone new, I'd recommend Linux Mint. It's simple and easy, but also doesn't get in the way of advanced usage.
