I think it’s kind of funny that the link you provided quoting this hadith is only quoting it to explain why it’s wrong and Muslims shouldn’t believe in such hadiths. It then goes on to quote the Qur’an on why we should give salam. 😂

Personally I intended the scope of this community to be related to “Xinjiang” technically, although I am aware of other overlapping names used in the region historically.
