  • Lmfao what ? First of all it’s not Russia, it’s the Soviet Union, whichh is an important discussion, and secondly they didn’t want to kill all germans, but make sure denazification was fully done, with no risk of having a single nazi left in power.

You’re saying it as if they made an outlandish proposal and it was rejected by the others; in reality they had control of East Germany and had no need for anyone’s approval in their denazification efforts, which was successful.

Meanwhile nazis that werent notorious enough or part of the holocaust were basically put back in power in West Germany.

Man, I loved playing around with GPT2, I was hyped about GPT3, I paid for AI dunegon and NovelAI, I was so stoked about all of this. When ChatGPT came out, I was like “y’all are just learning about it ?” but I was so happy that this tech I loved was getting recognition.

I’m definitely in the “AI hate” camp now, this really is the worst timeline

  • Nah

    • CLI is relatively consistent, UIs keep changing; documentation on how to do X will be outdated extremely quickly and unlike CLI those changes aren’t documented nor searchable
    • GUIs are straight up not documented, you can’t know an option exists unless you stumble on it
    • Even if the GUI is explicit enough to count as documentation, you can’t search a GUI; the CLI documention can be searched for keywords
    • You can’t automate GUIs if the need arises

I’m not against GUIs in general, but they should always be supplementary to CLI, otherwise you end up with windows
