Long-Haul Comfort: The 10 Best Airlines For Economy Class Travel

Flying in basic economy is not always a pleasant experience, as many find it cramped and uncomfortable due to narrower seats and reduced seat pitch - making this cabin the densest section of the plane. As such, when it comes to booking your next flight in the back of the jet, especially for a long-haul flight, even just a little more legroom can be a game-changer. So which airlines provide better long-haul economy class experiences than others?

SWISS Grounds Airbus A220-100 Fleet Due To Ongoing Engine Issues

Swiss has taken the drastic decision of grounding its entire Airbus A220-100 fleet amid ongoing engine issues with Pratt & Whitney Geared Turbofans. The carrier has operated the A220 the longest as it was the launch customer for the type back in 2016, when it was still known as the Bombardier CS100. And while this segment of the fleet consists of “only” 9 aircraft, it’s more negative news for the troubled engine.
